Updated Terms and Conditions for Lawn Stars LLC

By accepting a quote from Lawn Stars LLC, the client agrees that the prices, specifications, and conditions listed are satisfactory. Lawn Stars LLC is authorized to perform the work as specified. If an account becomes delinquent, the client agrees to pay all collection and legal fees incurred, including interest. Any dissatisfaction with work must be submitted in writing within three (3) days of the service completion date. Failure to notify will waive any right to claims or complaints. All payment options require a valid credit card saved in our secure client portal, unless prepayment has been made.

Annual service agreements automatically renew every 12 months. Either party may cancel at any time. A standard 5% annual price increase is applied at the start of each new billing cycle to account for inflation and increased costs in labor, fuel, and materials.

There are no cancellation fees. However, the client must settle payment for all services rendered, as well as any applicable discounts that are voided by early cancellation.

Prepay Cancellations:
If a client cancels before the end of a prepaid term, they will be charged for completed services at full (non-discounted) rates. Any refund due will be issued by paper check, in accordance with repayment terms.

Contract Cancellations:
Clients on a monthly billing plan are charged evenly over 12 months. If canceled early, a reconciliation of services performed vs. payments made will determine if a balance or refund is owed.

• If Lawn Stars LLC owes the client:
  
  • Under $2,500: Payment issued within 90 days
  • Over $2,500: Payment issued within 120 days
• If the client owes Lawn Stars LLC:
  
  • Under $2,500: Payment due immediately upon cancellation
  • Over $2,500: Payment due within 30 days of cancellation

• Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed.
• A valid credit card must be on file unless the customer is prepaying.
• Late payments may be subject to interest and collection fees.
• Services may be paused or terminated for accounts with overdue balances.

• Clients may request to skip a mowing by replying to the service notification or texting (610) 216-4576. Skipped services void quality guarantees for the following visit.
• Skipping more than 4 times per year may result in service termination.
• Program includes up to 24 mows per season, based on technician discretion and weather conditions.
• Mowing typically occurs:
  
  • Every 7-10 days in Spring/Fall
  • Every 7-14 days in Summer
• Clients must remove pet waste, toys, and obstacles prior to service. Excessive obstructions may result in partial or skipped service, but charges will still apply.
• Lawn Stars LLC reserves the right to charge double for overgrown properties or those requiring double/triple cutting.
• Additional charges may apply for:
  
  • Grass clipping removal: $100+ per instance
  • Branch removal: up to 2x mowing price
  • Leaf removal after Nov 1: up to 2x mowing price

Seasonal Mowing Heights (non-adjustable):

• Apr 15 - Jun 15: 2.5"–3"
• Jun 16 - Sep 1: 3.5"
• Sep 2 - Oct 31: 2.5"–3"

• Tree trimming not included (available upon request at additional cost).
• Mulch installs include 1–2" of double-shredded hardwood mulch. Requests for natural or alternate mulch are accommodated upon request.
• Excess mulch beyond included amount: $50/cubic yard.

• Trigger: 2" of accumulation
• For less than 2", clients must call to request service.
• Salt application: free upon request (pre-storm only)
• Same-day cancellations not accepted; may result in a $25 fee

Lawn Stars LLC does not offer warranties on sod, plants, or trees. However, we encourage customers to contact us promptly if plants appear unhealthy so we can help troubleshoot (over/under watering are common causes). Post-install care instructions are provided.

Requests for services outside the agreed scope will be billed at $85 per man-hour, with a two-hour minimum. Additional charges may apply for equipment, materials, and disposal. Final cost will be confirmed before the work begins. Due to scheduling logistics, out-of-scope work may require a follow-up visit.

All services are weather-dependent. Lawn Stars LLC reserves the right to reschedule or skip services due to rain, extreme temperatures, or unsafe conditions. Clients may be notified via email or text of any changes. Services will resume during the next available rotation or as rescheduled.

Lawn Stars LLC follows safety procedures and aims to minimize risk during all services. However, the client is responsible for removing or identifying potential hazards before service. Lawn Stars LLC is not liable for damage to:

• Toys, hoses, decorations, ornaments, or yard items
• Underground or unmarked utility lines, irrigation systems, dog fences, or wiring
• Turf growing near structures (fences, siding, posts, etc.)

We recommend trimming turf at least 6” away from structures or installing protective barriers. Lawn Stars LLC may skip trimming in areas where damage risk is high.

By accepting service, clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lawn Stars LLC against injury, death, or damage to property related to undisclosed hazards or service conditions.

Lawn Stars LLC may take before/after photos of completed work for quality control and marketing purposes. These images may be used on our website, social media, or promotional materials. Clients who wish to opt out may submit a written request.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
